Privacy Policy
Based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), this notice describes what personal data we process when you use the arzenkft.hu website, for what purpose and on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer, because our core activity does not involve the regular and systematic monitoring of data subjects on a large scale.
2. Individual processing activities
Quote requests and contact
- Purpose
- Responding to incoming enquiries (including confirming receipt by e-mail), preparing a quote and the communication this requires.
- Data processed
- Company name (for a business or institution), name, e-mail address, phone number, postal code, town/city, street and house number, the type and floor area of the property, the requested service, the pest identified, the urgency, and the text of the enquiry.
- Legal basis
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) – taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
- Retention period
- If a contract is concluded: 5 years from the end of the contractual relationship (the general limitation period under the Hungarian Civil Code, "Ptk."). If no contract is concluded: 1 year from the enquiry.
Visitor statistics
- Purpose
- Measuring and improving use of the website (Google Analytics 4).
- Data processed
- Truncated IP address, device and browser data, the pages visited, the time and duration of the visit.
- Legal basis
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) – consent of the data subject. Statistical cookies are placed only with the visitor's express consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
- Retention period
- No more than 14 months.
Displaying the map
- Purpose
- Showing the location of our sites on an embedded map from Google Maps, on the Contact page and on our location pages.
- Data processed
- IP address, device and browser data, the content of cookies placed by Google.
- Legal basis
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) – consent of the data subject. The map does not load by default, and no data reaches Google until it is loaded: the embed is created only when you click "Load map". Consent can be withdrawn at any time, just as easily, using the "Hide map and withdraw consent" button under the map.
- Retention period
- The fact of your consent is stored by your browser until you withdraw it or clear your browser's storage. Google's own privacy policy governs Google's processing of the data transmitted to it.
Operation of the website
- Purpose
- Serving the website and operating it securely on the hosting provider's server.
- Data processed
- IP address, time of the request, the resource requested, browser identifier.
- Legal basis
- GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) – legitimate interest of the controller: providing the service securely.
- Retention period
- As determined by the provider's logging practice, typically no more than 30 days.
3. Cookies
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function may, under the applicable law, be placed without your consent. We place every other cookie – including those used for statistics – only with your express consent. Merely visiting the website does not constitute consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it.
We record your decision on statistical cookies – whether you accepted or declined – in your browser's own storage, so you do not have to make it again on every page load. This record contains no personal data and never leaves your browser. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page; declining takes effect immediately, and measurement does not resume for the rest of the session.
On the Contact page and on our location pages, we record your consent to the embedded map in your browser's own storage, so you do not have to give it again next time. This record contains no personal data, never leaves your browser, and can be deleted using the "Hide map and withdraw consent" button under the map.
4. Data processors
We use the following processors for our data processing. We do not pass your data to any third party for marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.
- Macronet System Kft. (6500 Baja, Arany J. u. 2.)Hosting, and delivery of messages from the quote request form to ARZÉN Kft.'s own mailbox.
- Google Ireland LimitedVisitor statistics (Google Analytics 4) and the embedded map (Google Maps), both only with consent.
Data transfers to third countries
When Google's services are used, data may also be transferred to the United States. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision. Such a transfer – for visitor statistics and the embedded map – takes place only after you have given your consent.
5. Your rights
- AccessYou may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and, if so, information about the scope of that processing.
- RectificationYou may request the correction of inaccurate data and the completion of incomplete data.
- ErasureYou may request the deletion of your data if the purpose of processing has ceased or you have withdrawn your consent.
- RestrictionYou may request the restriction of processing in the cases specified by law.
- Data portabilityYou may request that your data be provided to you in a structured, machine-readable format.
- ObjectionYou may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdrawing consentYou may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You may submit your request using the contact details given above. We will respond without undue delay, and in any event within one month.
6. Legal remedies
If you believe that the processing of your data violates the law, you may lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság – 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.; phone: +36 1 391 1400; e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu), or you may bring the matter before a court. At your choice, proceedings may also be brought before the regional court ("törvényszék") having jurisdiction over your place of residence or place of stay.
7. Amendments to this notice
We reserve the right to unilaterally amend this notice. An amendment takes effect upon its publication on the website.
